ReplyDeleteMy favorite read this year...hmmm. Do to the chaotic nature of my life this past year, I haven't had a chance to do too much reading. I did read some of the Percy Jackson books, which were enjoyable easy reads. If I win, I'll send you my email through a facebook inbox, if that's ok Christy! Happy Birthday, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI went over to your blog Christy Dorrity, but I couldn't how to leave a comment on it. So if I leave a comment here, can I count it? I think "Imprints" sounds intriuging. I might to look for it at the library. I too, have been influenced by a lot of the same books you have. You remind me a 'Anne of Green Gables' by the way :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 followers! I'm a follower and my favorite book so far this year has been Everything is Fine by Ann Dee Ellis, probably because it's a writing style I've never seen before, and Ann Dee tells tough stories tactfully. That means a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Stop by my blog and enter my 100 followers contest too. ;)
PS I put your contest in my sidebar, just for fun. :)

Hi. Happily I just met you through KarenG's BBQ. And I see you're a Utahn! I grew up in Salt Lake City and lived there off and on over my 70 years. I now live in Virginia with my disabled daughter where I write (memoir coming out soon through WiDo Publishing), blog, visit children and grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI've posted your giveaway on my sidebar of my blog.
I'm now following you.
I went to Gone Feising (Irish Dance) and commented.
I read your review of Kaylee's Choice by Rod Vick and commented.
I added you as a friend on Goodreads (which place I have yet to learn how to use, or find time to use!).
And I'm commenting here. My email is annbest37@yahoo.com. My favorite read so far this year is The Year My Son and I Were Born by Kathryn Lynard Soper. It was marvelous. I was especially interested in it since I'm caregiver to an adult disabled daughter, and also have a 9 year old autistic grandson. It was beautifully written, one I would recommend to any aspiring author.
How lovely of you to do this giveaway. I would love to read Mockingjay. I've read so much about it! (total points: 7)
